Drought Warning: Voluntary Reduction of Non-essential Water Usage

11/6/2024

Due to a lack of substantial rainfall in the past few months and to help avoid a water shortage,
the Association is requesting a voluntary reduction in the non-essential usage of water throughout Village 2 immediately.

Guidelines for reducing non-essential usage:
  • Turn off faucets while shaving and brushing teeth
  • Fill dishwashers and clothes washers before running
  • Use the economy cycle on dishwashers and washing machines
  • Locate and repair leaks in faucets and toilets
  • Reduce the number of toilet flushes per day
  • Take shorter showers
  • Reduce watering of landscaped areas
  • Refrain from washing your vehicles
These guidelines may be updated in future to be consistent with restrictions imposed by the state of  Pennsylvania or the Delaware River Basin Commission. New Hope Borough has already issued a restriction notice for all residents.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions about this, contact the Village 2 office.

No Plantings / Items on Common Grounds. No Feeding of Wildlife.

11/29/2023

Please be advised that residents may not install any items or plantings (trees, bushes, flowers) outside the courtyard of your unit without submitting a written request and obtaining Association approval - and no items may be installed or placed on the common grounds.
Additionally, although we all love animals, please be reminded of the Association's regulation which strictly prohibits the feeding of any wildlife, with the exception of one (1) bird feeder per unit. Please do not leave any type of feed or food (including scraps) outside your unit at any time. Please know that leaving food outside is also a violation of New Hope Borough's ordinance. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in the assessment of a $100 fine per day to the unit account.
Thank you for your compliance!
